1. Sponsor

The contest is organized by Institut de Natation de Montréal (operating as MIS and Swim Montreal) (the “Sponsor”).

2. Contest period

The contest begins on October 28, 2026 at 8:00 a.m. Eastern Time and ends on November 30, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time (the “Contest Period”). Entries received after the end of the contest are not eligible.

3. Eligibility

The contest is open to residents of Quebec who are 18 or older at the time of entry.

Employees, instructors, agents and representatives of the Sponsor and of its advertising and promotional partners, content creators paid to promote the contest, and the people who live with them, are not eligible.

4. How to enter (free)

During the Contest Period, you can earn entries in the following ways:

a) Website form (1 entry). Complete the entry form at swim-montreal.com/winter-splash. Limit of one form entry per family.

b) Automatic entry (1 entry). Families with an active registration in the Sponsor’s Fall 2026 session on October 28, 2026, or who register for a Fall mini-session or a FASTRAK winter holiday intensive by November 30, 2026 at 11:59 p.m., receive one entry automatically. This entry takes the place of the form entry: a family that also completes the form does not receive an additional entry. Registering for lessons does not add any other entry.

c) Social media comments (1 entry per platform, up to 2). Post a comment stating your child’s swim goal (or your own) on the official contest post on the Sponsor’s Instagram account @swim.montreal or Facebook page (facebook.com/SwimMontreal). Only one comment counts per platform, however many comments are posted. Your account must be visible to the Sponsor at the end of the contest for the comment to count.

d) Instagram Story share (1 entry). Share the official contest post to your Instagram Story and tag @swim.montreal during the Contest Period. One entry per family, however many times it is shared. The mention must be visible to the Sponsor.

e) Referrals (1 entry per referred family, up to 3). When a new family completes the form, it can enter the name or email address of the family who invited it in the “Referred by” field. The referring family earns one additional entry for each different, eligible family that had not already entered, up to three. The referring family must itself have an entry in the contest and be clearly identifiable. Referring yourself or someone who lives with you does not count.

f) Newsletter (1 entry). During the Contest Period, agree to receive the Sponsor’s newsletter and promotional emails, either by ticking the separate, optional box on the entry form or by using the newsletter sign-up form on the contest page. Both give the same entry, counted once per family. People already subscribed to the newsletter on October 28, 2026 receive this entry automatically. Subscribing is free, and you can unsubscribe at any time without losing this entry.

g) Swim moment (1 entry). Post a photo or video of your swimmer (at the pool, at the lake, on the way to a lesson, with MIS or not) on Instagram or TikTok tagging @swim.montreal, or on Facebook as a comment on the official contest post on the Sponsor’s Facebook page, during the Contest Period. On Facebook, this photo or video comment counts in addition to the comment in (c) when posted separately. One entry per family, however many posts are made. Your account must be public and the tag visible to the Sponsor when it is checked; Stories are checked daily. Show only your own family, take no photos in changing rooms, and follow the pool’s photo rules. Posts that do not meet these conditions are not eligible. The Sponsor never reposts a photo or video of a child without the written consent of a parent or guardian.

Maximum of 10 entries per family. A “family” means the people who live at the same address.

Buying or registering for lessons never gives more chances than the free form.

5. Prizes

Six (6) prizes will be awarded:

Grand prize (1): one Winter 2027 session of private swim lessons for one swimmer, made up of 8 private lessons of 30 minutes at a participating MIS pool, plus an MIS merchandise pack (MIS water bottle, pens, swim bag and Croc charm). Approximate retail value: up to a maximum of $500, taxes included.

Additional prizes (5): one $100 credit toward MIS swim lessons in Winter 2027, valid until March 31, 2027. Approximate retail value: $100 each.

Total approximate value of all prizes: up to $1,000.

Lessons are subject to schedule and pool availability. If a winner has already paid for Winter 2027 lessons, the Sponsor will apply the prize value as an account credit or a refund of eligible fees. Prizes must be accepted as awarded and cannot be transferred, exchanged or redeemed for cash. If part of a prize cannot be provided, the Sponsor may replace it with a prize of equal or greater value. Limit of one prize per family.

6. Draw

On December 1, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. Eastern Time, the Sponsor will hold a random draw among all eligible entries received during the Contest Period. The grand prize will be drawn first, followed by the five additional prizes. The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.

7. Winner notification and prize claim

Selected entrants will be contacted by email, or by direct message for social media entries, within 2 business days of the draw. To be declared a winner, the selected entrant must: (a) reply within 5 business days; (b) correctly answer, without assistance, a mathematical skill-testing question; and (c) confirm their eligibility and sign a declaration and release form. If a selected entrant cannot be reached, does not reply in time or does not meet these conditions, they will be disqualified and another entry will be drawn.

8. Social media platforms

This contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Instagram, Facebook, Meta Platforms or TikTok. By entering, each entrant releases these platforms from any liability related to the contest. Questions should be directed to the Sponsor, not to the platforms.

9. Personal information

The information collected (name, email address, postal code, name of the referring family, optional Winter swim plan answers (which do not earn entries), social media username, link to the tagged post) is used only to run the contest, verify eligibility and contact winners. It is kept for as long as the contest requires and then destroyed, in line with our privacy policy. Entering does not subscribe you to the MIS newsletter unless you tick the separate, optional box for it (see section 4(f)). For access or correction requests: info@swim-montreal.com.

10. Publicity

With their consent, the Sponsor may announce winners’ first names and municipalities. No photo of a child is published without the written consent of a parent or guardian.

11. Disqualification

The Sponsor may disqualify any entry or entrant that uses multiple accounts, automated methods or false information, posts comments that are offensive, discriminatory or unrelated to the contest, or otherwise tries to interfere with the contest.

12. Limitation of liability

The Sponsor is not responsible for entries that are lost, late, incomplete or not received because of technical problems, or for any malfunction of a website or social media platform.

13. Changes or cancellation

If an event beyond its control prevents the contest from running as planned, the Sponsor may modify, suspend or end it. In that case, prizes may be drawn from the eligible entries received before the event.

14. General
