SAFETY & RESPECT

Swimming, though fun and exhilarating, is a sport that requires strict attention to safety. MIS instructors are all certified lifeguards, and are trained to enforce the rules to keep you safe. We respect everyone all the time, and expect the same from our clients.

Clients are expected to help promote safe and respectful environments as well, and together with MIS we are proud to offer the safest learning environment possible.

At all MIS pools strict safety protocols are in place:

  • Only registered swimmers may enter the pool, and only when their instructor calls them over
  • Swimmers may not enter the pool before nor stay in the water after their lesson
  • Parents are expected to stay and observe each lesson

While enjoying the flexibility and luxury of our many pools, it is important to respect our partners and host pools. It is thanks to their continued support and partnerships that MIS can offer our clients the flexibility of numerous locations. We thank all our clients in advance for helping keep our locations safe and clean:

  • Bring your own towels
  • Remove outdoor shoes
  • No food or drinks in the pool area
  • Please change your kids in the bathroom or changing area, not on deck
  • Shower before and after your lesson
  • Whenever possible, only 1 family member may accompany each swimmer in the pool area (additional family members may wait in the reception or lounge areas)
  • Reduce your impact on the pool: use lockers for coats and bags, take up as little space on pool deck as possible
  • Refrain from using any other amenities, including but not limited to hot tubs, saunas, fitness center, lawn chairs
  • Respect other pool guests and users. Other guests have priority in the pool area
